Whoops! Looks like Rihanna should have consulted your high school French teacher before getting her latest tattoo. The music superstar’s newest ink reads “rebelle fleur,” but someone forgot to tell the ‘Rude Boy’ singer that in French, adjectives typically follow the nouns they modify. To translate as “rebel flower,” which we assume is what she intended, that tattoo should read “fleur rebelle.”

Rihanna and Hayden Panettiere now have something to share, misspelled tattoos! Rihanna’s could be fixed (although with more risk of skin color color change) with a Nd:Yg laser. The increased risk of a visible change is due to Rihanna’s darker skin (not so great for tattoo removal lasers) and because more of a change would need to be done here (removal of a whole word and placement of another word in another place.) In Hayden’s case it was a one letter fix on more pale skin…an easier fix.
I guess for Rihanna, it is either this or plan on reading that tattoo in a mirror.
