Dr D Shows You A Rock Hard Silicone Gel Breast Implant Capsule
Posted by admin in Dr D's Patients, Dr D's Truth, Dr D's YouTube on April 8, 2013
A short video shows a 27 year old ruptured silicone gel implant and the calcified scar capsule the patient’s body made to try to contain it. It helps explain why some silicone breast implant patients develop rock hard breasts and what can be done to fix the situation.
It also helps explain why most often I prefer saline-filled breast implants that do not tend to encourage the formation of rock hard breasts. Seeing calcium deposition on the implant capsule (which is what makes the breasts really hard) in a woman who has never had silicone gel implants is extremely rare.

Dr D Video on Saline Breast Implant Safety
Posted by admin in Dr D's YouTube on January 20, 2013
A few years ago I saw a YouTube video by a woman who claimed that saline breast implants had essentially ruined her life. I responded with my experience with saline implants and my preference for them over the silicone gel filled alternative. Lately I have had a few comments at YouTube that were a bit “over the top,” so I deleted them. Being that this kind of discourse is more appropriate for the blog here, I am going to allow comments that I would not allow on my YouTube here. Lunacy and/or foul language will still be deleted of course:

Sclerotherapy – The Truth
Posted by admin in Dr D's Truth, Dr D's YouTube on December 28, 2012
Small procedures are on the rise with the economy being depressed. Sclerotherapy (injections to improve spider veins) are pretty common.
The concept is pretty simple: inject a fluid into the vein causing it to clot and scar (and eventually go away.)
This works pretty well for small veins but frequently can leave a bruised vein for several weeks. You really should keep the treated area out of the sun while this bruise resolves or it can be permanent.
The veins can come back. They usually do to some extent so this is a maintenance therapy.

Dr D Tummy Tuck Morph and Comments
Posted by admin in Dr D's YouTube on August 30, 2012
I have contributed some videos to YouTube. Who hasn’t? Interesting is the fact that the video upon which I spent the least effort is the one with nearly 2.5 million hits.
It’s a low res tummy tuck before and after morph. I just plugged her before and after pictures into a program I was trying out and that was it. YouTube has improved in the five years that it has been online. The distortion that used to be there has decreased.

P.S. Consider Saline-filled breast implants and put have them placed “Under the Muscle.”
