Britney Spears apparently saw a plastic surgeon and was not offered surgery when she requested nasal and breast work. I wonder how this information was obtained. It violates privacy laws if she didn’t consent to its release.

Sofia Vergara is interesting in this piece. On one hand, she talks about doing something to her eyes which is a reasonable consideration at her age (a young 38.) Then she bags women in LA for having surgery and fillers to look younger.
Was she thinking of eye surgery to look older?
My point is and has been that it is the extent to which surgery is done (or the amount of fillers) that can lead to a freaky look. Was that what she was trying to say? Or maybe she thinks eyelid surgery is not surgery.

She was once a hot commodity in Hollywood (flashback to the “American Pie” movies). But more recently, even the actress admits that her career has become somewhat of a joke. That reputation is due in part to a reality show she did on E! called “Taradise,” which showed her penchant for partying. She tells US Weekly it was “probably the stupidest thing I ever did … I didn’t know it was going to ruin my career.”

Reading this story on Tara Reid (no doubt timed for the release of “Incubus,” a direct-to-Web movie,) I figure that operating upon this young lady might be pretty risky for a surgeon.
Let’s see:
(1) She is known to be a partier…alcohol, late nights without rest and cigarettes are not the best for healing patients.
(2) If things don’t go well, she will probably use the history of “botched plastic surgery” to promote her next project.
(3) She will likely take no responsibility for a bad outcome. Surgeon and patient share the good and the bad in real life folks.
I hope whomever recently operated to fix the previous results charged her for the risk he was taking.

The 64-year-old actress’s mouth looked oddly immobile as she walked in New York – with lips not so much beestung, as attacked by a killer swarm with Botox in their stings.
The Private Benjamin star has long been rumoured to have flirted with filler and suchlike, but has always denied having any plastic surgery.

Goldie in the image at Dailymail looks like she’s probably had filler to the whole upper lip “aesthetic unit” (which includes the area below the nostrils as well) not just the lip itself as in the classic Trout Pout. If the lip wasn’t moving too much when the photographer imaged her, it is possible that she had some Botulinum toxin as well.
I kinda prefer lips that move, but at least when they don’t there are no wrinkles.

Fallen supermodel Karen Mulder was arrested in Paris today after allegedly threatening to attack her plastic surgeon.
Then again maybe she wasn’t the best candidate for surgery and this could have been ascertained beforehand?
She attended a psychiatric hospital suffering from chronic depression, blaming it on drug addiction during her modeling days.

I did not know that she has regular drug testing to enable her relaunch in the US. This and the need to keep in the public eye make PR stunts a constant possibility.

Lovely Elisa posts on Pamela Anderson with a few bikini images and questions.
Implants of the size we see here dwarf the tissue Ms Anderson has available for coverage. Especially when she wears tight clothing, the folds of the implants become visible. The folds become more noticeable with a little bump at the location at which the pectoral muscle ends on the chest wall. I’ll bet her implants are partially “under the muscle.”
When you go really large on breast implants, they are going to look fake. As long as that is what you want, I guess that is OK. They probably hurt too at least on occasion at this size. Smaller ones really don’t.

Well in this picture from Teri’s facebook page her Frontalis muscles are working, so they are not under the influence of Botox. Whether or not anything else has been treated recently is another story. It is not like she couldn’t go get her fill (pun intended) minutes after these images were taken, is it?
The fact that this is news is kinda funny, but then again that is one of the reasons we discuss it here. We’ll see how this develops. I’d wager she’s not shaken the “cosmetic surgery bug” yet.
