Understanding the “Porn Star Boob Job”

August 4th, 2010

We have discussed “all implant” boob jobs before. Breast implants help make breasts look the most natural when there is adequate tissue to cover them. When the size of the implant gets too large and/or they are put over the muscle, we get distortion and/or a more “fake” look. The breasts end up looking like balls or oranges. Some women of course desire this look. Many of them work in adult entertainment.

With the “bigger implant and little or no covering tissue” jobs, we also get the increased possibility for re-operation for pain, implant displacement, and rippling. In the breast implant case, “bigger” comes with “bigger risks.”

Women who choose to go progressively “bigger” and “bigger” flirt with disaster at some point. There are always compromises though. The woman in the image above seems far from that, but does have the balloon look – the implants are either over the muscle or have little tissue covering them.

Coco’s a cartoon?

July 23rd, 2010

When I see images of Ice-T’s Coco, an old post comes to mind:

Implants of the size we see here dwarf the tissue [she] has available for coverage. Of course that might be what she had in mind.

When you go really large on breast implants, they are going to look fake. As long as that is what you want, I guess that is OK. The chances for problems like pain and rippling also go up when you go this big. As long as you know on the front end.

(Maybe Too Much) More on Katie Price’s last Breast Surgery

September 29th, 2008

Celeb News

Being knocked out that much affected my bowels and my waterworks. I had to have a catheter fitted and I was so blocked that I couldn’t go to the toilet for 13 days. My stomach was sticking out like I was seven months pregnant – it was agony.

Sounds like narcotic-associated constipation. It can be pretty bad and some people are very sensitive. Maybe next time try less narcotic more relaxant.

World Record for Plastic Surgery?

January 29th, 2008

AOL

“Angela Bismarchi, 36, is hoping to set the world record for most plastic surgeries. The Brazilian model has had 42 operations, making her a celebrity in her home country.”

This one is kinda odd, but she seems happy about it. It is both fortunate (practical) and unfortunate (financial) that my practice doesn’t appeal to this kind of patient.

LOL. I probably wouldn’t do these cases anyway.

Celebrity Boob Jobs gone Wrong?

June 27th, 2007

Source

CityRag blogs on celebrity boob jobs. It is sometimes difficult to figure what goes awry with a breast implant case.

Some “educated guesses” based upon the images in this article however are:

* Janet Jackson – Breasts and implants droop over time. She may need a lift.

* Victoria Beckham – Probably old silicone gel implants “Over the Muscle.” They contract quite a bit. Probably needs a redo with “Under the Muscle” implants. She doesn’t seem to have much tissue for coverage, so she is best advised to stay small.

* Tori Spelling – Went too large and now after childbirth she is larger and “droopier.” A lift and down-sizing might be in order.

The fourth woman in the article has images of an early result from which I can tell little.
