What ever happened to the EV1?

I am not a big believer in conspiracy theories, but whatever happened to the EV1? What a great idea this thing would be outfitted with current day electric batteries (probably Lithium Ion.) Why would GE destroy them?

It looked OK. It had the lowest drag coefficient in history. It would help us get away from fossil fuels.

Anybody know anything on this that doesn’t sound like a science fiction plot?

Britney Spears Planning Some Plastic Surgery

Britney Spears may be planning some plastic surgery. Hopefully she will get her diet and exercise program in line before surgery and maintain this afterward. Otherwise she is in for a disappointment.

BTW – A mini tummy tuck looks a bit too small to fix her tummy at least from that which I have seen.

Argentina for surgical tourism?

Surgical tourism is not bad for small procedures, but if there is a problem it can be a long flight back to get care. Most domestic plastic surgeons fear liability in caring for out of country cosmetic patients. Often the patient cannot sue the foreign doctor, and actually sues the domestic doctor for helping out. No good dead goes unpunished I guess.

Dr Phil and the Dr Jan Adams Story

Some of Dr Jan Adams’ former patients were featured on the Dr Phil show along with Dr Adams’ uncle and former business partner, a board certified plastic surgeon. Dr Adams pulled another “No show” although why he would agree to appear on the show is beyond me.

Porn Star and ex-California gubernatorial candidate took a shot at selling her old breast implants on Ebay and promoted the event as a charity auction. She apparently had them removed in a redo operation.

OK, there’s nothing wrong so far. I guess.

I read the listing just for the hell of it and she was only donating 20% of the cash to charity. Now that wasn’t mentioned in any of the clips I have saw of the event.

Butt Implants Gone Wrong?

Elisa of Elisita’s Blog emailed to tell me of this one. Butt implants are not an operation that many plastic surgeons offer. The potential for problems is larger than many surgeons (myself included) are willing to accept. I do butt lifts, tummy tucks, liposuction and body lifts in that area, but I am not a fan of butt implants.

Is Jennifer Love Hewitt Fat?

Jennifer Love Hewitt is not fat. She has a big booty only relative to a very thin waist. The swimming suit in which her rear was imaged was not the best choice either, but that is not a crime. She is obviously sensitive on the topic of her booty. It is one of her few faults.

TMZ has posted recent Joan Van Ark (of “Knot’s Landing”) pictures that of course don’t look so great. I am sure her plastic surgeon will be held accountable although we don’t know:

(1) whether or not she smokes
(2) the photographer plus or minus Photoshop
(3) her source for permanent make-up
