Electric Cars – The Death of the Tesla?
Posted by admin in time sensitive on November 29, 2008
So much for the fantasy of a pure electric car.
I start thinking conspiracy whenever I think about the EV1. General Motors has something that no other car maker has ever had, an electric car that people know and that worked. They just don’t want to make them.
I propose we make any bailout money from the Feds predicated upon their production of the vehicle. Otherwise who knows when we will see a working pure EV again.

Lisa Rinna – Admits To Too Much Juvederm
Posted by admin in celebrity plastic surgery club on November 21, 2008
Lisa Rinna is opening the lid on a big Hollywood secret by confessing that she had too much of the filler Juvéderm injected into her face.
Yep, there is that tendency too inject too much. The newer fillers last longer and it looks funky longer with them.

Dr Di Saia Quoted in "Real Jock"
Posted by admin in plastic surgery news on November 13, 2008
Weight loss: Dr. John Di Saia, a plastic surgeon practicing in Orange County, Calif., told us that the skin of men who lose significant weight shrinks back better when they’re younger, and less so as they age. Lesson: Lose excess weight when you’re younger—or see a plastic surgeon if the folds bother you on visits to Palm Springs.
I feel like the late Rodney Dangerfield…”a little respect.”
Thanks, Russ.

Christina Applegate & Breast Reconstruction
Posted by admin in Other Celebrity News on November 10, 2008

Christina Applegate had a double mastectomy and now is apparently looking into breast reconstruction. Good for her. The overall tone of this piece however underscores the lack of understanding on the topic. Breast reconstruction and cosmetic breast surgery are quite different.
She may not be able to choose her size and the appearance will not be as nice as if she had not had mastectomies. Hopefully she had skin sparing mastectomies and will not need chemotherapy or radiation therapy as this would improve her options significantly.

Did Audrina "Go Larger" On Her Breast Implants?
Posted by admin in time sensitive on November 9, 2008

Audrina Patridge has been running around looking bustier than previously. The buzz is that she may have “gone larger” on her implants. On these things, it is hard to tell until she starts getting photographed in skimpier clothing. With Audrina, that may just be a matter of time.

Ashley Olsen Wants Breast Implants
Posted by admin in celebrity plastic surgery on November 6, 2008
Word has it that Ashley Olsen, one of the Olsen twins, wants breast implants and her twin sister is not so sure. Twins (even not so famous ones) do have some unusual issues. The debate over cosmetic surgery can take a very funky turn in cases like these. One twin may not have surgery unless the other does as well.
We’ll see how this turns out.

Tara Reid Interview in People and Plastic Surgery

Tara Reid bemoans her “body image/lipo dents” fame in People magazine. It is true that she is one of the most famous “Plastic Surgery Poor Outcomes” Celebrities. That is a good thing as her continued presence in the blogs and magazines provides the buzz upon which she makes a living producing independent films and working on her first clothing line, etc. Her actual acting has been limited as of late.
She has improved upon her abdominal dents as recent images show. Her backside is another story. It would be interesting to know what surgery may have occurred back there.

To say that Hugh Hefner’s input here has not resulted in a beauty would be crazy. She looks great.
