Reader’s Comment:
“In 2005 I had fat transfer from my stomach thru my belly button, and he put fat in my cheeks,,well to this day my stomach will not go down and it feels as if the muscles aren’t the same,,? What do you think about this?”
Fat grafting is not a standard procedure. Doctors do it differently. The harvest is the part in which the doctor obtains the fat to put elsewhere. It is common to take it from the belly through the belly button.
For there to be much change in the harvest site is unusual unless you were quite thin in the first place. The muscles should not have been affected at all. You need to see your doctor for an evaluation to help determine what might be happening.
