Apr 2009 – Migration from Blogspot

Hello all,

The migration from Blogspot where this blog had been hosted since May 2005 has not been without consequences:

(1) Comments previously hosted at Haloscan will probably not be transferred here.  That means many posts will not have comments.

(2) Some internal links to other pages within the blog posts may still link to the old blog host.

Improvements include a search tool that works much better than the ones I’ve used previously and better control of comments to keep the spammers out. We will be going through as time permits to mitigate and/or eliminate these problems as we can.
