Gummy Bear Breast Implant as Body Armor – Saves Woman’s Life
Posted by admin in plastic surgery news on October 5, 2011
The bizarre story about a new function of silicone breasts – body armor – took place in the family of a 40-year-old female Muscovite. The woman had a fight with her husband, and the man grabbed a knife in a fit of anger, the Moskovsky Komsomolets newspaper wrote with reference to plastic surgeon Sergei Blokhin. The family fight would have ended with the woman’s death if it had not been for her silicone implants.

Not that I would promote the routine use of breast implants body armor, but cohesive gel implants do have the consistency of thickened Jello. This was enough in this case to stop the knife with which the woman was stabbed from puncturing her heart. And the implant didn’t even leak. Pretty cool.
According to the story the man had originally convinced his wife into getting the implants that were later to save her life. The fact that he stabbed her is kinda creepy.
