Kate Gosselin – Breast Implants Too?
Posted by admin in celebrity plastic surgery on October 23, 2012
A Kate Gosselin post poking fun at her for playing the “plastic surgery denial” game prompted a bit of twitter activity including a picture from @Berksgrl:
The suggestion was that Kate may have had her breasts augmented as well. From the looks of the “after” image (on the right) it seems pretty possible. This kind of change could also be caused by really large inserts, so we only get to “possible/probable” with this image.

Audrina Patridge Still Thinks We Are Stupid
Posted by admin in celebrity plastic surgery, Celebs a Talkin' on July 31, 2012
Audrina Patridge is a pretty woman with breast implants. She has had them a number of years and there are images she shot with an amateur photographer years before showing her without them. Then magically her breasts got fuller and round to look just like she had small breast implants placed. Still she likes to spin tales of impossibility to the press when asked about it:
The former reality star blames constant speculation of a breast enlargement on a “chest problem” she has struggled with her whole life. Patridge, who starred in The Hills and now has her own reality show Audrina, claims she has a chest deformity that makes her breasts look like they’re different sizes. When asked about why her chest has become substantially larger since she first started filming the MTV show The Hills in 2006, Patridge denied she had received breast implants.
“I don’t like to talk about that. Well, see I have this chest problem. My bone right here, it’s higher on this side? It’s pectoralis something. So I’ve always struggled with that. You could see they look different sizes all the time,” Patridge told The Daily.

She’s not smart enough and I am not dumb enough for her to use the Jedi Mind Trick on me. She has small breast implants. Chest wall deformity, gimme a break!

Meghan McCain and my Breast Implant Suggestion on Larry Elder
Posted by admin in Beauty in the News on November 4, 2011
I called Larry Elder’s radio show yesterday as he was talking about Meghan McCain or more superficially her assets. My comment was that maybe she had obtained a little surgical boost for her upcoming Msnbc gig. I admit that I have not really followed Ms McCain, so I was speaking in jest for the most part. I did indicate that I would be posting on it, so here we go.
Looking at images and information of Meghan on the internet, she has been promoting her assets here and there for some time. She has also struggled with her weight a bit. The image above is from her Twitter account. A friend of hers took this image. I have worked as a photographer in the past, so I know the implied meaning when a person is shot from above and to the side. It hides girth a bit.
To make a long story short, I think Meghan is likely still sans implants.

Keeley Hazell Does Not Have Breast Implants
Posted by admin in breast implants? on October 31, 2011
It seems pretty common for people to assume those women who have nice breasts (particularly fuller ones) have had breast implant surgery. Keeley Hazell appears not to have had implants. Her breasts feature more of the signs of natural large breasts than implanted breasts.
Breast implants tend to look more round without help. You will notice Keeley (like many women with larger natural breasts) tends to wear bras and bikinis that support her and pull her breast tissue up and together to form cleavage. The softness of natural breasts is not easily mimicked with implants alone. Breast implants also tend to produce upper pole breast fullness without help.
So my vote on Keeley is “No implants” at least for now.

Rihanna Breast Implants?
Posted by admin in Plastic Surgery or Not? on August 31, 2011
Source: huffingtonpost.com/2009/09/01/rihanna-topless-and-muzzl_n_274261.html
The question of Rihanna possibly having breast implants has been around for a while. We addressed it a while ago when she was looking bustier. Now she’s done a topless shoot for Vogue. Her appearance there could possibly be the result of small implants and weight loss, but it is not a giveaway shot. It looks more unlikely that implants are in there.

Mira Sorvino Breast Implants?
Posted by admin in celebrity plastic surgery on May 5, 2011
It looks like Mira Sorvino just may have had breast implant surgery. Not long ago she was welcoming a new child into the family with a pretty small chest.
At a movie premiere a few months later, she was gloriously busty. This might just be swelling from breastfeeding, but I doubt it.

Paris Hilton Breast Implants?
Posted by admin in celebrity plastic surgery on February 7, 2011
Previously we have blogged about the very “bloggable” Paris Hilton (who seems to revel in the attention.) I have said that despite her statements to the contrary, she would probably join the “celebrity plastic surgery club.” By the looks of these pics at Team Sugar, she appears to have taken a pair of breast implants out for a run. Or is it a bra?
Paris continues to provide bloggers with entertainment and by all accounts will do so well into the foreseeable future.

Reader Question: Can Breast Implants Last Ten Years?
Posted by admin in breast implant pre-op tutorial on October 8, 2009
Reader Question:
I am worried about having to have surgery all the time if I get breast implants. Can breast implants last ten years? It seems the ladies I see posting online are going back to have surgery a lot.
Are you in Orange County California? Is that the Ocbody.com thing? If so, you may be seeing me soon. lol.
Here is a bit from a “thank you” card a patient sent me a few years ago:
“Wow – It has been a decade! My surgery was May 22, 1997 I think. That’s amazing. I told my husband just the other night that ‘they’ are still doing good and that some people have to have theirs replaced after a few years. See how good you are?!
This woman had saline-filled implants placed by me in 1997. They are at present 12 years old and she is without problems. Getting breast implant results to last ten years is a matter of focus:
Don’t have larger implants placed than your tissues will easily cover. Consider saline implants (which suffer less hardening over time) and have them placed under the muscle.
And yes, I am an Orange County Plastic Surgeon and that was the reason for the web site address when I registered it. I appreciate your consideration.

Reader Question: Breast Implants by a Non-Plastic Surgery Board Certified Surgeon?
Posted by admin in plastic surgeon credentials on September 16, 2009
Reader Question:
I read online that [ doctor's name omitted] is giving away breast implant surgery. I checked him through the American Board of Medical Specialists web site abms.org and it says he is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology. Is he a plastic surgeon? He says he is certified by the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery. Is it legal for non-plastic surgery board certified surgeons to do breast implants?
This is a complicated question. Board certification indicates the training that a doctor had after medical school. It appears that the doctor in which you are interested trained in Otolaryngology as a “Head and Neck” surgeon. You can see what that really means at Wikipedia.
One of your questions is how do you define a plastic surgeon. I went through formal residency training and certification by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. This doctor did not. Many doctors who did not work in plastic surgery. Does that make them plastic surgeons? They would probably say yes.
Another question you asked is are non-plastic surgery board certified doctors permitted to do breast implant surgery. The answer is it depends upon where they do them. The doctor you describe would probably not be granted privileges to do breast implants in a hospital operating room. There would be a credentialing committee in the way. He probably does his surgery is an office-based surgery center that he may very well own.
My advice to people considering plastic surgery is to research your prospective surgeon carefully. The issue of board certification by an ABMS board is important to a hospital credentialing committee. The American Board of Cosmetic Surgery is not an ABMS board. More information for your evaluation is outlined on my site linked below.

Ashley Olsen Wants Breast Implants
Posted by admin in celebrity plastic surgery on November 6, 2008
Word has it that Ashley Olsen, one of the Olsen twins, wants breast implants and her twin sister is not so sure. Twins (even not so famous ones) do have some unusual issues. The debate over cosmetic surgery can take a very funky turn in cases like these. One twin may not have surgery unless the other does as well.
We’ll see how this turns out.
