Reader Question:
Las Vegas “Not Plastic Surgeon” Story
This is definitely a story for the buyer beware or that you get what you pay for. It’s great to win something for free but I have to admit that I’d be leery of any medical procedure that I could win in a sweepstakes. Plus the fact that this doctor didn’t even have surgical privileges at a hospital or surgical center should have been a warning sign.
This doctor was a family practitioner. He could not get privileges to do surgery at any facility. This is “free plastic surgery” that will cost big bucks to have fixed. A shame.
It is also one of the clearest cases of malpractice I have seen. If the circumstances are as described here, this doctor had no business doing this surgery.
