Denise Richards Has Had Three Boob Jobs and a Removal
Posted by admin in breast implant pre-op tutorial, celebrity plastic surgery on September 28, 2011
The American actress underwent her first breast enlargement operation when she was 19, and later had another procedure which boosted her chest but the results were “not good”. Her third operation was a breast reduction.

After breast implant surgery, if women are going to go back to the operating room it is usually for larger implants. Satisfaction studies for breast implants are over 93%. Then again breast volume does not solve everything. Technically a breast reduction is an operation to reduce naturally large breasts. Reducing the size of your breast implants is called an “Implant Exchange.” From the looks of Ms Richards’ most recent images it is more likely she had her implants removed. This is called explantation.

Post op Breast Implants & Breast Sex Question
Posted by admin in breast implant pre-op tutorial, Dr D's Truth on July 28, 2011
As many of you know I have a web site, this blog and a forum or two that I surf and at which I receive questions. This one was direct:
The Question:
“I feel silly asking the question but I just got my breast implants done and my man really likes boobie sex. When can we do it? My doctor did a great job, but is so conservative. I would feel stupid asking him. I feel less silly asking you as I have read you site and blog for quite a while now.”
An Answer:
This definitely qualifies as the question of the week. The question has been asked before but you don’t “beat around the bush” at all (no pun intended). LOL.
Patients tend to be a bit embarrassed in asking questions about cosmetic surgery and sex. This has been a recurring topic on a many forums that I have frequented over the years, but there it usually comes up after tummy tuck surgery. I also put up something brief on my web site directed toward assisting my patients with post-op sex issues. These issues obviously interest many people, but many like yourself are too embarrassed to ask.
Ideally you would ask your surgeon what he or she recommends. Patients do not realize that not all surgeons do surgery in the same fashion with the same materials. So what I recommend to my patients may not be the best for you. In fact, following the advice of anyone other than your surgeon has more risk than following your surgeon’s direction. Understand that implants are not made to last forever and you are planning upon some extra wear.
Just looking into how to answer this question was a trip. What to even call the “act” is difficult without using censored words. Wikipedia calls it “mammary intercourse.” The Brits apparently call it a tit wank. The implant makers probably wouldn’t recommend it, but it is done as we all know. Some of my patients have told me it was a motivator adding to the desire to have the implants in the first place.
So I am offering you general guidelines only and not medical advice:
You can probably “test drive” your new rack a month after surgery. If you are a redo operation, you definitely want to ask your surgeon first. Have your man avoid licking the breast on the area of the incision (the healing line through which the implants were placed) or getting any bodily fluids on it for at least a month after surgery or a week after it appears completely closed (without scabs) whichever comes second. Be gentle the first time, use plenty of lubrication and definitely stop if anything hurts.
Happy playtime.

Did Kimberly Stewart have her Breast Implants Removed?
Posted by admin in celebrity plastic surgery on July 1, 2011

As the story goes Kimberly Stewart had breast implant surgery years ago and later had them removed over “health fears.” As she was smoking at the time and they were large (relative to her slight frame) I’d bet they were affected by capsular contracture and this may have scared her. A short YouTube video I made of a breast implant removal operation in a woman affected by a severe case of this breast hardening is posted below. This seems to affect patients who smoke and patients who have silicone gel implants more commonly.
After her removal operation, Kimberly gave her implants to Jack Osbourne who framed them and put them on his wall. Touching. It looks like she also had a nose job that worked out better for her.

Katie Price’s Nipple Slip and Reducing Breast Lift Scars
Posted by admin in celebrity plastic surgery on May 23, 2011
Pic Source: egotastic.com/entertainment/celebrities/katie-price-jordan/jordans-nipple-slip-most-disgusting-nipple-slip-ever-003251
Jordan had just had surgery to reduce her implant size and lift her breasts. Close up images of a nipple and areola after breast lift surgery take time to improve. It is called “healing.”
What do you all expect? Weeks after implant exchange and lift surgery of course things will look funky. This is one of the reasons to think twice before having monster-sized breast implants. They stretch out your skin and if you decide to later remove or downsize them, a breast lift will be needed to “take in all the slack.” Everyone needs to chill.
As an aside, I like the use of fewer sutures over the skin in breast lift surgery to reduce the cross-hatching you see in Jordan’s scar here. As time passes that will get lighter, but will not go away entirely. One of my full breast lift/implant patients is linked below so you can see what I mean.

Mira Sorvino Breast Implants?
Posted by admin in celebrity plastic surgery on May 5, 2011
It looks like Mira Sorvino just may have had breast implant surgery. Not long ago she was welcoming a new child into the family with a pretty small chest.
At a movie premiere a few months later, she was gloriously busty. This might just be swelling from breastfeeding, but I doubt it.

On occasion I refer to breast implant dimensions. For reference, these are the dimensions (at variable fill volumes) of Mentor style 3000 High Profile Breast Implants. The data was obtained from Mentor’s web site and is subject to change if and when they change it. When you compare these implants with other saline implants, you notice that these change shape as you inflate them toward their peak fills. In this case as you fill them they between mid range and peak fills, they get a little more narrow and project (or stick out) more.

How To Tell If She Has Fake Boobs – Coed Magazine
Posted by admin in Plastic Surgery or Not? on March 4, 2011
This Coed Magazine post is amusing, but assumes that every gal gets implants on the large side seeking to look more fake. Smaller implants are not as easily spotted.
We might rename this post “How to Spot Implants on a Bikini Model” to be more accurate.

MakeMeHeal Question: Traci Bingham Plastic Surgery?
Posted by admin in celebrity plastic surgery, celebrity plastic surgery club on December 29, 2010
MakemeHeal Question:
Traci Bingham is a former Baywatch star—she looks very plastic, beyond her giant implants. Can you estimate how large her implants may be, any guess about any other work she may have had? Botox, nose job, lip injections etc? She is now 41
Source: news.makemeheal.com/traci-bingham-plastic-surgery/820
From what I have seen, Traci looks like a “Patron of the Art.” She’s likely had at least a rhinoplasty (likely more than once), breast implants, eyelid surgery, and lips. She is likely a Botulinum toxin user as well.

Kourtney Kardashian regrets boob job
Posted by admin in breast implant pre-op tutorial on October 29, 2010
Reality TV star Kourtney Kardashian has revealed that regrets her boob job, saying: “It was so dumb.” The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star was just 22, when she had surgery to increase her breasts from B- to full C-cups. But she revealed that she decided on the op on a total whim – and has spent the last eight years regretting it. “It was kind of an impulse,” she said.

Cosmetic surgery shouldn’t be decided upon on a whim. It sounds like that is what happened here. Even though over 90% of patients are satisfied with their cosmetic breast implants, that does leave around 10% who are not. She can always have them removed.

Reader Question: Through the Armpit and Belly Button Breast Implants?
Posted by admin in breast implant pre-op tutorial on October 9, 2009
Reader Question:
I like the idea of having my breast implants put in through the armpit, but the opinions on the internet about it are split. No scar on the breast is best right? Is it safe to have them put in this way? Why do so few doctors do it that way?
Transaxillary (or through the armpit) breast implant surgery is difficult to get right at the lower breast fold due to lack of visualization. Your surgeon can’t see and often does this surgery mostly by feel with blunt instruments. The careful work to free the Pectoral muscle from attachments to certain areas while preserving others is kinda “hit and miss” when done without seeing. Due to these facts, these “transax” cases have a higher rate of the implants not settling, settling unevenly, or bottoming out. That means the redo rate is much larger than with other approaches.
These are amongst the reasons that surgeons like myself shy away from the trans-ax approach and other methods through which poor visualization and control is a problem (like through the belly button.) I like to see what I am doing and it looks much better when I do.
