Bethenny Frankel’s Breast Implants That Didn’t Lift
Posted by admin in celebrity plastic surgery on April 14, 2011
Bethenny Frankel opens up in the new Life & Style about getting breast implants in 2005—and why she got them removed a few years later. Like many women, there was a time when Bethenny Frankel was insecure about her body. Although she was blessed with a pair of 34C’s, they were too saggy and made the then 35-year-old self-conscious. So in 2005, she consulted a Florida plastic surgeon to get a breast lift. Bethenny, author of A Place of Yes, on stands now, tells Life & Style, “He told me there would be big lollipop scars if I got a lift. Being single at the time, I wasn’t comfortable with that idea. He told me he could instead put in a small implant that would give me a lift – not as much as a real lift would but at least a little bit of a lift. So I did it.” But with the implants, Bethenny explains, “They were still saggy – only now they were bigger! They were saggy and gigantic. I was so uncomfortable.

The misconception that the placement of breast implants alone will achieve some sort of lift is widespread. The tendency of younger patients to not accept breast lifting is pretty typical too. I don’t know if I would slander her original surgeon though as I do not know what the understanding was between the two before surgery.
It is a fact as well that breast implants alone placed into saggy breasts will just sag more and sometimes very quickly. Maybe Bethenny’s story will open the eyes of others who may not want to follow.

Katie Price – More Breast Surgery

IDLYITW posted on Katie Price who has by report had more breast surgery. They also posit that she has had some lip filler. They assume that she wants to look natural. I doubt that she does. She wants media attention and gets it.
We have discussed here how to make your breast implant surgery less of a “revolving door project.” The women that like implants on the larger side simply get more surgery. This is just the nature of larger breast implants.
Larger Breast Implants + Weight Gain / Pregnancy = More Surgery / Breast Lifts

Reader Question: Why Do I Have Saggy Breast Implants?

Reader Question:
I have breast implants and my boobies are still saggy. Aren’t my new and improved boobies supposed to stay up?
Breast implants may come out of a box, but different women wear the exact same breast implants differently. Each woman’s tissues supports the weight of implants a little differently. This is part of the reason that really large implants tend to sag in general more than smaller ones.
You can of course consider additional surgery (such as a breast lift) to put your implanted breasts in a more attractive position if the current state of affairs is not to your liking.
