Leighton Meester Sues Mom Over Plastic Surgery
Posted by admin in criminal for plastic surgery on April 29, 2013
Leighton Meester just won her legal war against her mom — after the “Gossip Girl” star sued her last year … claiming the woman diverted money Leighton had sent to her little brother … and she spent it on things like plastic surgery, Botox, and hair extensions.
Leighton filed the lawsuit claiming her little brother has serious medical problems … so she sent home $7,500 a month to help cover his expenses. Leighton actually didn’t sue to recover any money from her mom.

So mom takes the money sent home for a sick sibling and spends it on cosmetic work for herself. Kinda cold.

Woman Steals From Doctors To Have Plastic Surgery
Posted by admin in criminal for plastic surgery, plastic surgery news, Smart Doctors on April 16, 2012
A woman pleaded guilty in federal court this week to stealing more than $650,000 from her employer and spending the money on plastic surgery, among other things, the U.S. Attorney’s Office announced Friday. Robin Newman Maner, 43, of Blythewood, was convicted of wire fraud and faces up to 30 years in prison, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office. Maner, who has several aliases, was working as a bookkeeper for a group of medical doctors in Columbia from June 2004 to July 2009. In that time, she stole $672,433.65 from her employer and used two credit cards to make unauthorized purchases, the U.S. Attorney’s Office said, adding she spent money on cruises and buying jewelry, electronics and furniture and plastic surgery.

This woman apparently stole from her physician employer (she worked as a bookkeeper) in South Carolina to the tune of $650,000! Doctors are far too trusting and are the victims of theft not infrequently or so I am told.
She used the money for a number of things apparently including plastic surgery. I wonder if her surgeon has to pay back this stolen money. lol.
