Human Barbie Valeria Lukyanova Denies Extreme Plastic Surgery

“Human Barbie” is a term commonly applied to those who have changed in appearance so much as to be accused of extreme plastic surgery. Many of the accused seem to have seen more than their fair share of surgery. Ukrainian model and self-proclaimed human barbie Valeria Lukyanova denies this of course:

[T]he Ukranian model known as the “human Barbie” for her doll-like figure is speaking out to deny rumors of rampant plastic surgery A spokesman for Lukyanova told ABC News the only plastic surgery she has had is a breast enhancement. The “human Barbie” herself told V Magazine she achieves her look with makeup.

In her particular case, I think I might believe her. Her spokesman apparently copped to breast implants which by the looks of things seems obvious. The rest of her look body-wise seems more like her very thin body with a pencil thin waist. She likely achieved this due to her genetics and not eating much of anything. The real source of the facial component of her “Mattel-inspired” look seems like a good deal of makeup. I do not see plumped lips a la filler or obvious facial surgical signs. I certainly so not see signs of extreme plastic surgery which would be almost anything in a 21 year old woman. She’s no Heidi Montag…..

Valeria Lukyanova – A Plastic Surgery Barbie or Photoshop Creation?

When women purported to be creations of “plastic surgery taken too far” show up on the internet, I usually wonder how much surgery is involved versus Photoshop. We can add the Ukrainian Valeria Lukyanova to the list:

Lukyanova’s got the long, straight blonde hair, the flawless ivory skin, the wide-eyed look and the heart-shaped mouth. Even more unbelievable, however, is her tiny, seemingly carved-out waist and her disproportionally large chest. It may not be scientifically exact, but Lukyanova comes close to real-life Barbie proportions.

Looking over her MySpace images, I really don’t see much. Well I have seen much worse. In the image above I see a moderate sized boob job (of course this could be an old image) on a thin Ukrainian woman with a thin waist that I’d bet was God given. Her nose had probably seen some work although I’d wager she might have more. Some of the images appear to feature facial fillers or maybe that is just Photoshop.

Heidi Montag, she’s not….at least not yet.
